As if their gorgeous outdoor wedding ceremony wasn’t enough to have you craving a lakeside vacation, then the photos from Julianne Hough and Brooks Laich’s honeymoon will surely give you a case of the travel bug.
After saying “I Do” on the Coeur d’Alene in Idaho, the pair took off for one incredible honeymoon. Thankfully, you can live vicariously through them as they travel because the cute couple is posting tons of snaps on Instagram.
According to Hough’s Instagram, their honeymoon will consist of two parts: relaxation and adventure. Because really—what more could you hope for?
From their wedding, the two headed straight for the beach! The first half of their getaway took place on a beach on the Indian Ocean.
The photos showcase the couple exercising, brunching and sporting a wardrobe that consists primarily of swimsuits. They have the most amazing seaside backdrop and seem to be having a great time with each other.
Not a bad way to start off a marriage, huh?
Once they got some relaxation in, it was time for the adventure part of the trip to begin. The couple headed off for a safari in Kenya next, trading one gorgeous backdrop for another!
They’ve photographed hippos and elephants and even took a hot air balloon ride, so we’d say they’ve nailed the “adventure” portion of this honeymoon, too.
Hough also celebrated her birthday while she and her husband were abroad.
Being able to celebrate a birthday while on an incredible honeymoon vacation is a pretty rare thing, and this special moment certainly wasn’t lost on her.
Here’s what Hough wrote on Instagram:
First of all, I can’t thank you all enough for the incredible love you have given my husband @brookslaich and I. We definitely feel it all the way out here in the Indian Ocean! Second, to be able to celebrate my birthday in the honeymoon bubble of love has been incredible, and you all are the most thoughtful people in the world to come up with posts and collages that I know take time. You will never know how much it means to me. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
Here’s to the happy couple and to hoping they keep the photos coming! Because seriously—their honeymoon posts are all sorts of vacation inspiration!
