Justin Timberlake Says He’s ‘So Proud’ of Jessica Biel’s Success In ‘The Sinner’
It’s pretty hard to find a more adorable couple than Justin Timberlake and Jessica Biel (and we’d argue, maybe impossible). So it’s no surprise that Timberlake is supportive of his wife’s career, with his latest shout-out proving he is a proud husband.
Ahead of the final episode of Biel’s show, “The Sinner,” Timberlake tweeted supportively, “It’s the finale of The Sinner & I’m so proud of my wife. You could say she killed it. I wouldn’t use such an obvious pun, but you could.”

Biel, who played Cora Tannetti in the USA Network drama, also produced the show. “The Sinners” follows a young mother (Biel) who, when overcome by inexplicable rage, commits a startling act of violence and has no idea why. The show then takes a journey through her psyche to reveal secrets of her past in an attempt to figure out what caused the violence.

“The Sinner” has been a success, even to Biel’s surprise.
“Generally it never occurred to me that we’d have such great ratings,” she told “Variety.” “It felt like something we’d never seen before. The characters were an absolute dream for a creative and challenging experiment, and with a woman at the front of it all – and kind of an unlikable woman – it seemed like a good challenge and it seemed like something new.”
The series finale of the show ranked number one in cable readings when it aired on Wednesday, Sept. 20 and according to Nielsen delayed viewing data, “The Sinner” was the number one new cable series of 2017.
There is even talk about a second season, although it was originally designed for only an eight-episode run.
Biel and Timberlake married in 2012 and now have a two-year-old son, Silas. Timberlake has always spoken highly of his wife, saying marrying her was a “really good decision.”
“Every once in a while I can catch a glimpse of her when she doesn’t see me looking and I have this moment when I’m like, ‘If you never make a good decision, if you only make bad decisions for the rest of your life, you made one really good decision,'” he said in an interview on Ellen DeGeneres’ show in 2013. “It’s nice to marry your friend, it’s nice to marry your best friend. It suits me.”
Biel isn’t shy about their romance either, posting on social media on Father’s Day:
“…And to my beloved husband, my adventure companion, my road dog, who works tirelessly for THIS family and gives of himself energetically and spiritually every day, I am eternally grateful for you and your love. As Silas likes to say, “you are so much cool.” I love you to the moon and back. Your adoring wife, Me.”
