Justin Timberlake talks candidly about fatherhood
In his recent interview with Beat’s 1’s Zane Lowe, Justin Timberlake talked about his upcoming new album, “Man of the Woods,” fatherhood and his hopes of having more children with wife, Jessica Biel. The power couple got married in Italy in 2012.
Timberlake and Biel are parents of 2-year-old son, Silas, who inspired the name of the record, which drops on Feb. 2, and its title track.
“I literally just went on Google like, ‘meaning of the name Silas,’ and it sent me to this to this site and it said, ‘of Latin origin, meaning ‘Man of the woods,'” he said during the interview. “I was like, ‘How serendipitous that my last is Timerblake, like what does that mean?'”

During the very candid interview, Timberlake was asked about having more children—and he didn’t mince words in his response:
“I want to have as many kids as we can, if I’m being honest,” the “Filthy” singer said. “I’ve never felt more inept my life. You wake up and all of a sudden there’s this human being you’re responsible for.”
Inept as he may feel, judging by his Instagram, Timberlake and Biel are enjoying the rollercoaster of parenthood so far.

The former *NSYNC pop star spoke honestly about his new role as a father and how it’s changed the way he views his own childhood and what that means for the future of his kids.
“When you have kids all of the sudden you’re faced with your own childhood, good and bad, am I going to completely mess this kid up,” he said. “I feel like the success of parenthood is feeling like I failed all day today, but I get to wake up tomorrow and do it again … and hopefully, they turn out to be a good human being.”
Silas will be 3-years-old this April, so should we be on the lookout for another mini-Timberlake on the way soon? We think yes!
