‘Big Bang Theory’ Actress Kaley Cuoco Is Engaged!

Kaley Cuoco turned 32 on Nov. 30, but little did she know that her birthday would also mark another huge milestone. Her boyfriend, equestrian Karl Cook, waited until Cuoco’s birthday to ask her to marry him. He posted a video of a very emotional Cuoco — who finally stopped crying long enough to say “yes” — following the proposal. And with that, the “Big Bang Theory” actress is officially engaged.

The two had a day full of activities in honor of Cuoco’s birthday. According to Cuoco’s Instagram stories, they picked out a tree together and headed to Target. Cook actually hinted at the proposal while he was in the store, posting a photo of a giant ring and an unamused Cuoco to Instagram with the caption:

“On my loves [sic] birthday I got her everything she has always wanted …. now judging by her face maybe not, it’s the thought that counts right?”

She had no idea that later—after a romantic candlelit dinner—Cook would propose for real!

You can tell how the actress was truly surprised and overcome with emotion. She was definitely not expecting to turn 32 and get engaged in the same day. See her sweet response to her boyfriend-turned-fiancé below:

According to Cook, the pair have been dating for nearly two years, and it’s taken him this long to “work up the courage” to propose:

“Well after nearly two years I finally got up the courage to ask her to marry me. This is the best night of my life and I think the video shows it is the best night for kaley [sic] as well.”

He’s certainly right about that!

Once Cuoco finally said “yes” to marrying Cook, the two shared a dance. The song of choice? None other than Ed Sheeran‘s incredibly sweet song, “Perfect.”

Cook posted a video of the special moment to Instagram writing, “In life, there is nothing like dancing right after getting engaged. The purity and grace of the moment are inexplicable.” Aww!

Cook clearly has no hesitation in professing or showing his love and affection for his lady.

They also share a love of horses, which is totally adorable! They ride and compete in shows together.

This will be Cuoco’s second marriage. She was formerly married to tennis player Ryan Sweeting, and their divorce was finalized in 2016.

The actress told People magazine shortly after she began dating Cook following her divorce, “I don’t know what the path is going to take, but I’m very happy right now.”

And clearly, she and Cook are destined for marriage.
