After plenty of speculation from the media, last month the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge confirmed what many tabloids were suggesting: Kate is pregnant and expecting baby number three. However, the royal couple did not reveal Kate’s due date until now.
The Duchess of Cambridge has typically kept a low profile during her pregnancies. As with her previous pregnancies, Kate is suffering from hyperemesis gravidarum, a rare but serious condition which strikes pregnant women. It causes severe nausea, vomiting and electrolyte imbalance, and it must be monitored carefully in order to keep baby and mom safe.
On Monday, Kate felt well enough to make a surprise appearance at London’s Paddington Station, where a charity event was being held to raise money and awareness for The Charities Forum, which is a collection of charities, of which The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and Prince Harry are patrons.
After her unexpected appearance at Paddington Station, the Royal Family unveiled the Duchess’s due date on Twitter: April 2018.

A spring baby! How wonderful. And how lovely of Kate to show up for a charity event, despite how ill and tired she must be. She even took a twirl with Paddington Bear himself!
Women are incredible! It takes one strong mama to get out there and dance with a big stuffed bear when you have spent the better part of the last few months feeling seriously sick.
Despite the trials of the early months of pregnancy, Kate still looks fantastic, and her new short hair is so modern and fresh. Now, that we know her due date for sure, it’s time for the tabloids to start speculating about the sex and name of the new baby! Any guesses?
And, maybe the wee one will be born on April 21 … and share a birthday with the Queen of England herself!
