The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are now the parents to three adorable children: 4-year-old Prince George, 3-year-old Princess Charlotte and newborn Prince Louis. Since becoming a mother four years ago, the duchess has truly relished raising her family.
She recently shared what she “cherishes” most about motherhood in a letter to East Anglia’s Children’s Hospices, of which she is a patron.
“Spending quality time together is such an important aspect of family life and for me, as a mother, it is the simple family moments like playing outside together that I cherish,” she wrote.

The letter was in support of Children’s Hospice Week, so she also mentioned how important it is for parents to enjoy creating memories with their children.
“The theme of Children’s Hospice Week this year is ‘Life’s Short’ and I am touched that children and young people are sharing what they love most in life and reminding us of how precious time is for everyone,” she wrote. “By supporting Children’s Hospice Week we can help them spread joy and positivity across the UK, encouraging everyone to make the most of moments that matter.”
The duchess has shown her support for the Children’s Hospices by raising awareness of the organization and visiting the East Anglia location to meet families who use their services.

She is also a living example that family time matters. Whether she is photographing her children or having their portraits taken, she has proven to be devoted to her family.
Here’s a photo she took of her daughter just after Prince Louis was born:

As with other members of the British royal family, the Cambridges brought along their children while visiting other countries in the Commonwealth. Here they are on a trip to Canada:

They are adorable when they go skiing as a family as well:
And their strolls look absolutely lovely:

The duchess really does look like she’s at her happiest when she’s spending quality time with her husband and children. That smile says it all:

Just hours after giving birth to baby number three, the duchess was positively filled with glee:
Clearly, she’s in her element living the mom life, and that really is a beautiful thing to see.
