Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos’ Christmas card wins again

When it comes to adorable family Christmas cards, Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos really know what they’re doing. Last year, Ripa shared their holiday card on Instagram, and it was so cute. Even the famous pair’s teen daughter, Lola, approved of the funny family photo they chose for the card. Kids that age can be pretty particular about which images get shared, so you know it was a hit if she gave it her blessing.

This year, the family took things in a whole other direction — and the results are no less charming. On Dec. 11, Consuelos shared an image of the family’s Christmas card on Instagram, revealing that it was missing a few key members.

Consuelos was the only member of his family pictured. In place of his real-life wife and three children, his “TV family” joined him. The picture featured Consuelos along with his “Riverdale” costars, Marisol Nicholas, who plays his character’s wife, Hermione Lodge, on the show, and Camila Mendes, who plays his daughter Veronica Lodge. Consuelos portrays the family’s evil patriarch, Hiram Lodge.

“My poor wife has resorted to using my TV family as our holiday card,” Conseulos wrote in the caption of the photo on Instagram. “Personally … I think it’s her best work.”

Too funny! Ripa also shared the image on her page:

“Tired of fighting with the kids over the holiday card photo?” she wrote. “Problem solved! Thanks @camimendes @marisolnichols @instasuelos (swipe to see my actual family and don’t forget to read the fine print!)”

At the bottom of the picture, the fine print she references reads, “No actual wives or children were used in this photo.”

The next photo shows the whole actual Consuelos gang together on the red carpet. The fine print on that reads, “Love, The Consuelos (ACTUAL FAMILY) Mark, Kelly, Michael, Lola & Joaquin”
