Think of this gadget, launched on Kickstarter in 2016, as the “Keurig for Cookies.” The CHiP Smart Cookie Oven takes less than 10 minutes to cook four large cookies.

The developers of the SideChef cooking app designed the CHiP oven and the two work hand-in-hand. Cookie dough will be sold in individual pods (think K-Cups) with a unique QR code on the package. The oven reads the code and sets the baking temperature and time to bake the perfect cookie. Plus, the oven can keep the cookies warm for up to two hours after they are done baking.

SideChef needed to raise $100,000 to get the CHiP Smart Cookie Oven into production, and they’re now available for pre-order.
