Kevin Bacon and Kyra Sedgwick celebrated their 30th wedding anniversary with this sweet post

Kevin Bacon and Kyra Sedgwick just celebrated their pearl anniversary. That’s right. The famous couple has been married for 30 years. This week, they marked the milestone in fitting fashion with a trip to the desert and plenty of sweet photos. They shared a bit of their adventure on Instagram so we could all celebrate with them.

Sing Along

Bacon started the celebration with a sweet video on Instagram. They sang “To Love Somebody” by the Bee Gees to each other. Both stars can carry a tune quite nicely, and they harmonized and strummed along side by side. In fact, Bacon is one half of a rock duo along with his brother. He captioned the video, “30 years with this amazing woman. She is the music in my life.”

Sedgwick responded with a lovey-dovey Instagram post of her own. She captioned her cuddly shot, “30 years (yesterday). Lucky Lady.”

Desert Hideaway

The beguiling backdrop for their photos is none other than Amangiri. The ultra-luxurious desert retreat is located in the heart of the Grand Circle and within easy reach of the Grand Canyon, Bryce Canyon, Zion National Park and Monument Valley. It’s a relaxing, remote spot perfect for celebrating special occasions.

Love Story

It was about 11,000 days ago that the duo met on the set of the PBS movie “Lemon Sky.” They didn’t waste any time and wed later that year on Sept. 4, 1988.

They’ve shared a lot in the 30 years since then, including two children — Travis, 29, and Sosie, 26. In fact, they even have matching family tattoos.

Their love story is far from over, but it seems Bacon and Sedgwick have found a way to live happily ever after in the real world.
