Kevin Bacon and Kyra Sedgwick celebrate 29 years of marriage
Kyra Sedgwick and Kevin Bacon are one of Hollywood’s most enduring couples. The pair just celebrated 29 years of marriage, and they did it in the best way possible—with throwback photos.
Because the only thing better than current day Sedgwick and Bacon are young Sedgwick and Bacon, of course. Couple goals, much?
Bacon shared photos of himself and his wife posing together on Instagram and wrote the sweetest, most loving captions to accompany the old photographs.
“Happy day to my life love,” read one caption.

It just doesn’t get cuter than that!
The love fest continued over on Sedgwick’s Twitter account where she posted yet another adorable throwback photo along with the caption, “Still crazy about him after all these years. #29years #luckiestgirlintheworld.”

Aww, you guys!
But, this isn’t the first time these two have showcased adorable photos online. Their social media accounts are littered with photos taken together and sweet messages, some of which perfectly encapsulate what it’s like to have been married for 29 years.
The perfect example? Bacon posted a screenshot of a text conversation between he and his wife about a carrot that went missing…

Sound like married life? Others online certainly thought so.
“This sounds like my husband & I,” one person commented on Instagram.
Sedgwick and Bacon were married on Sept. 4 in 1988 after meeting on the set of the PBS version of Lanford Wilson’s play “Lemon Sky.”
They have two children together, Travis and Sosie, and have surely endured a lot in their 29 years of marriage.
Bacon told People magazine that Sedgwick was “heroic” for staying with him after all of these years.
“I was watching videotapes of our family from the early ’90s. Hearing me making these cheesy jokes from behind the camera, I said to my wife, ‘When I look at those tapes and hear the things coming out of my mouth, the fact that you have stayed with me is truly heroic,'” he told the publication.
Ahh, the things we do for love!
