Kit Kat has a new flavor that’s perfect for coffee lovers

Peanut butter and chocolate may be the ultimate combination, but have you ever had chocolate with your coffee?

Mocha-flavored coffee is my absolute favorite (and even beats out pumpkin spice!). Now there’s a new way to enjoy the flavor that I, for one, am insanely excited about: new Kit Kat Duos Mocha + Chocolate.

The newest Kit Kat flavor wraps the classic wafers with a mocha-flavored creme on the top and chocolate on the bottom. A permanent addition to the Kit Kat lineup, the new flavor is hitting store shelves nationwide in November in both standard ($1.11 for 1.5 ounces) and king size bars ($1.66 for 3 ounces).

This is the second Kit Kat Duos bar to hit stores, with the mint + chocolate bar arriving last December. Not only was it the first duo flavor for Kit Kat, but it was also their first new permeant flavor in nearly a decade.

The mint chocolate duo, which features a mint crème on the top and dark chocolate on the bottom, has been popular in other countries for years, but this is the first time it made its way to the U.S. You can find it at retailers nationwide.

Kit Kat has several other more unusual, recently-released flavors as well, including Apple Pie, Birthday Cake and the latest, Witch’s Brew for Halloween.

Both the Apple Pie and Birthday Cake flavors are covered in white cream and are for a limited time only. The birthday cake flavor marks the first time the brand has ever used sprinkles or any added elements to the bar’s coating.

The new Witch’s Brew Kit Kats are marshmallow-flavored with a green crème surrounding the classic wafers and are available in snack size for trick-or-treaters.

Seasonal flavors are also nothing new to Kit Kat, as we’ve also seen Pumpkin Pie for fall and Sweet Cinnamon for winter. We were treated to a pink Raspberry Creme flavor this Valentine’s Day.
