Krispy Kreme And Ghirardelli Team Up On New Doughnut Flavors

If you’re a donut lover, passing by a glowing “hot donuts” Krispy Kreme sign is nearly impossible. And now paying Krispy Kreme a visit is about to become even more tempting than ever before. The doughnut chain has teamed up with chocolate king Ghirardelli, and I can’t believe I’m saying this—but, now that these two have joined forces, a plain old glazed donut will just never be good enough again.

Krispy Kreme and Ghirardelli have created not one, but two donut flavors that combine everything you love about a Krispy Kreme with everything you love about a Ghirardelli chocolate bar. So, it’s safe to say that you’re going to want to order a dozen of these, well, as soon as humanly possible.

The first flavor features a donut that’s filled with White Mint Kreme and dipped in a chocolate glaze. It’s a mash-up of the Chocolate Mint Ghirardelli bar and the Mint Chocolate donut from Krispy Kreme. If you were a fan of a chocolate and mint flavor combo before, you’re going to crave it even more now.

And then there’s the donut that was inspired by the Chocolate Sea Salt Caramel bar. It’s a little salty and a little sweet. You have the sweet dough of the donut, but then it’s filled with salted caramel and topped with chocolate icing. It’s truly the best of both worlds as far as your taste buds are concerned!

According to a Krispy Kreme press release, these donuts will only be available at participating Krispy Kreme locations in the U.S. and Canada for a limited time. They launched April 3, so if you’re not in your car headed over to Krispy Kreme as we speak, then really, what are you doing with your life?
