In celebration of #DayOfTheDozens (a.k.a 12/12), Krispy Kreme will be dishing out a dozen free donuts to each person who comes in the store. All you have to do is buy one dozen donuts and you get a second dozen of glazed donuts for free. Not too shabby.
The most interesting thing about this deal is the way you redeem. Krispy Kreme created a scannable bar code inside a video. And the barcode is in the form of yummy icing dripping on the donuts.
To redeem your free dozen of original glazed donuts, you first need to purchase a dozen donuts (of any variety). Then, just present this video on your phone at checkout. If you don’t have a phone or want to go the old fashioned way, you can also just print out the paper coupon. But that’s isn’t nearly as fun.
