Kristen Bell’s Daughter Wanted Her To Wear A ‘Frozen’ Costume For Halloween—But Not The One You Think

When your kid makes a Halloween costume request, you’ve got to do it—even if you’re Kristen Bell and it means dressing up like the other princess from “Frozen.”

Bell, as we’re pretty sure the whole world knows by now, voiced Princess Anna in the film, who is the sister of Princess Elsa. But even though that ups her cool mom factor by 1,000 percent, sometimes it’s just not enough. Take, for instance, when Elsa is the favored princess—even to Bell’s own daughter.

The actress says her four-year-old daughter Lincoln insisted they both go as Elsa for Halloween. So, being the super cool mom she is, Bell went along with it—although maybe not while super thrilled. She posted a photo of herself on Instagram, writing, “When your daughter demands you BOTH be ELSA for Halloween…you GRIN AND FORKING BEAR IT.”

(“Forking,” by the way, is a reference to her character on the show “The Good Place,” which would also be a hilarious costume!)

Bell has admitted before that in her house, Elsa rules, even after she told her daughter that she is the voice of Anna. (Idina Menzel is the voice of Elsa.)

“Despite how hard I tried, we’re not an Anna family. Sad but true,” she told USA Today. “She don’t care. Any time the word ‘Halloween’ comes up she wants to put on her Elsa dress and her gloves. The gloves are a very big deal.”

What we won’t do for our kids!

At least Bell had some practice, because this actually wasn’t the first time she dressed as Elsa. On an episode of her “Veronica Mars” co-star’s new show “Ryan Hansen Solves Crimes on Television,” she dressed as a much less kid-friendly version of the Disney character. Check it out!

Kristen Bell isn’t the only celeb parent who donned a costume for Halloween: Channing Tatum pretty much won Dad of the Year earlier this month when he dressed up as a unicorn for his daughter’s school party.

And check out this picture from Halloween last year, where the entire Lachey family dressed up as “Frozen” characters:

Or how about the adorable time that Justin Timberlake, Jessica Biel and their son Silas turned into trolls for Halloween (Timberlake voiced a character in the movie “Trolls”):

Whether a unicorn, a troll or even your animated sister, one thing’s for sure—kids know how to pick some awesome costumes! Happy Halloween!
