You Can Now Support The Humane Society By Sending GIFs To Your Friends

What’s better than sending GIFs to your friends? Sending GIFs to your friends while helping animals in need!

A new partnership between The Humane Society of the United States and mobile app Kwippit are giving us a chance to help out our four-legged friends all through the year with something we already use every day — our smartphones.

Kwippit, which is free to download, allows users to personalize and share customized images for messaging, beyond emojis and pre-made GIFs. It includes dozens of free channels (collections of GIFs), as well as premium paid channels that allow users to support the causes they care most about.

When you purchase a premium channel, 100 percent of the proceeds will go to that organization — in this case, The Humane Society. For $1.99 per year, their channel will offer animated animal-themed GIFs that you can customize with text and send to your friends.

The Kwippit app works across all social media platforms and messaging apps, like Facebook, Snapchat, Instagram and Twitter.

Throughout the year, new animal images that will be silly, sweet, adorable — and sometimes wild — will be added to the Humane Society channel, so there will always be something new to share.

Download the Kwippit app on iTunes or Google Play. After you purchase the Humane Society channel and get access to the GIFS, you can then customize them. Just pick an image (called a “Kwipp”) from the dropdown menu, add your own personal message, and send it to friends through whatever social platform you wish.

For more than 60 years, The Humane Society has helped protect animals from cruelty. They and their affiliates are the nation’s largest provider of hands-on services for animals, caring for more than 150,000 animals each year, and they help prevent cruelty to millions more through advocacy campaigns.
