If you’re looking for a Halloween thriller, “It” is the movie to see. A film version of the 1990 miniseries based on a novel by Stephen King hit the box office in September and has received rave reviews for being terrifyingly good.

Fans are so fond of “It” that they recreated the opening scene using LEGOs, and trust us — it’s not any less scary when the characters are made of plastic. If anything, it’s even more creepy.

You have Brick Force Studios to thank for the clip that will haunt your dreams. Less than a month ago the animators posted the four-minute video of the short scene where a little boy named Georgie meets Pennywise the clown and it has already gotten over two million views.

See the LEGO reenactment for yourself. Don’t worry, there aren’t spoilers:

Gives you chills, doesn’t it?

The LEGO version certainly holds up well.

According to AMC Theatres, “It” is the highest grossing horror movie of all time, raking in over $500 million in box office sales.

Impressive, to say the least!

Stephen King himself even seemed blown away by the film.

“I had hopes, but I was not prepared for how good it really was,” he said in a video blog for horror-film website Bloody Disgusting. “It’s something that’s different, and at the same time, it’s something that audiences are gonna relate to. They’re gonna like the characters. To me, it’s all about character. If you like the characters… if you care… the scares generally work.”

Brick Force Studios aren’t the only people putting their own spin on “It.” A photographer and his brother took creepy photos that went viral because people love a good fright.

Be prepared to see lots of “It”-inspired Pennywise The Clown costumes this Halloween!

And if you haven’t already, go and see the movie. If it’s anywhere near as good as the LEGO version, you won’t sleep for weeks.
