A Lifetime movie about Prince Harry and Meghan Markle is in the works
Meghan Markle, everyone’s new favorite royal-to-be, is about to become the subject of a Lifetime movie. Her romance with Prince Harry is going to be dramatized by the cable network, and casting is already underway for the film.
“Harry & Meghan: The Royal Love Story” is going to cover their love story from day one all the way up to their engagement (and the media mania that followed). It will also cover Markle’s life prior to meeting Prince Harry, including her acting career (she is best-known for her role on the USA program “Suits”) as well as aspects of her romantic life, such as her dating life as a divorced woman (Markle was previously wed to film producer Trevor Engelson). Distance was blamed for the relationship’s breakdown, as well as Markle’s newly acquired stardom (Markle was in Toronto filming “Suits” while Engelson was home in LA).
It’s fitting that “Harry & Meghan: The Royal Love Story” will be directed by Menhaj Huda, who has directed episodes of “The Royals,” E!’s scripted show about a fictional royal family that seems to portray several characters based on the real British monarchy.
However, no actors have yet been officially attached to the project. This begs the question. WHO should play the world’s hottest couple?
Model Lukwesa Morin is a dead-ringer for Meghan Markle, but she might not have the acting chops to pull off such a tough role (plus she’s busy with grad school and philanthropy work).
Nicole Beharie of “Shame” could be a good choice.

Or what about Kat Graham of “Vampire Diaries”?

As for Prince Harry, what about Sam Heughan? He’s Scottish not British, but he has the red hair for it!

Too bad football player Carson Wentz doesn’t have an acting background!
Any body else think Carson Wentz and Prince Harry are brothers ? 😂😂 pic.twitter.com/VD1BknE7HY
