Lin-Manuel Miranda And Vanessa Nadal Are Expecting Their Second Child

Congratulations are in order! Lin-Manuel Miranda, best known for creating and starring in the Broadway musical “Hamilton,” and his wife Vanessa Nadal are expecting baby number two. The couple made it official when they hit the red carpet last night for the London Evening Standard Theatre Awards.

Miranda posted about the evening on his Twitter account. Before stepping out to pose for pictures, the couple hadn’t made an official pregnancy announcement.

But when fans became curious, Miranda confirmed a question about his wife’s pregnancy via Twitter, responding “Oh hell yeah!”

Clearly, he’s one proud papa!

Miranda and his wife are already the parents to three-year-old Sebastian, according to the Huffington Post. Since confirming that baby number two is on the way, Miranda has also shared how excited his son is to be a big brother.

“He is so impatient for it. Once, mid-tantrum, he cried, “When is mommy gonna HAAAATCH…,” he wrote on Twitter. How adorable!

Miranda’s son isn’t easily excited (especially by his dad’s music), but of course a baby is a very big deal! Miranda recently filled Jimmy Fallon in about how his son’s approval means a song is going to be a hit. Keep in mind, you have to take this with a grain of salt because he’s wasn’t actually a huge fan of “Hamilton” at first. Hear the hilarious story in the video below:

Little Sebastian isn’t the only one excited for the baby news, either. Nadal and Miranda may have managed to keep their second pregnancy under wraps for some time, but now that the news is out, there’s an outpouring of support from fans.
