Lisa Marie Presley’s Son Is Starting To Look A Lot Like Elvis
Do you see the resemblance?
The King of Rock ‘n’ Roll, Elvis Presley, may have passed away in 1977, but his legacy lives on. His daughter with Priscilla Presley — Lisa Marie Presley — went on to have four children of her own, and her son is starting to look a whole lot more like his grandfather.
Their resemblance was most recently revealed in an Instagram photo featuring Lisa Marie alongside her kids. They had all come together to celebrate her oldest daughter, Riley Keough, on her 30th birthday. The proud mom posted the photo alongside the caption, “Mama Lion with cubs”:
It’s clear from the photo that these kids definitely inherited some great genes from the Presley gene pool, and Lisa Marie’s son, Benjamin Keough, especially stands out for his resemblance to a young Elvis.
His full head of hair and high cheekbones are just part of what might instantly remind you of “The King” himself/ As you can see in another image from the mom’s Instagram — the resemblance is hard to hide, even with a beanie covering that curly head of hair:
Here’s another photo of the mom and son from 2012 when he accompanied his mom to The Grand Ole Opry:
In an interview that took place shortly after this appearance together, Lisa Marie told CMT that fans were in awe of her son’s resemblance to Elvis and, admittedly, it sometimes surprised her a little, too:
“He was at the Opry and was the quiet storm behind the stage,” she said. “Everybody turned around and looked when he was over there. Everybody was grabbing him for a photo because it is just uncanny. Sometimes I am overwhelmed when I look at him.”
Here’s an image of Elvis for comparison:
The resemblance is uncanny, although not entirely surprising, considering Lisa Marie and even Benjamin’s sister, Riley, look strikingly similar to Elvis, too.
His daughter is practically the spitting image of him:
And her daughter definitely carried on the family resemblance, as well:
The mom told CMT that she sees not only her father’s looks, but also a bit of his spirit in each of her kids, too.
“They’ve all got a little bit of him in them,” she told CMT. “They all have their own little traits, and I can just sense it, you know.”
Riley’s opened up about how being aware of Elvis’ legacy — but also being related to him — makes for a unique bond she’ll forever have with her grandfather, despite never getting the chance to meet him.
“I have those familial feelings toward him,” she told amNewYork. “It’s not just some person, in the way that if you would grow up hearing about your grandfather a lot and watching videos, you’d be like, ‘That’s my grandfather.’ I’m also totally aware of his legacy and his life and all that kind of stuff … It’s a different feeling than any other song if I hear it, but I’m used to hearing it all the time.”
The family and Elvis fans alike can take pride in the fact that they’re keeping Elvis’ legacy alive!
