Prince Harry’s Cousin Louis Spencer is the new eligible bachelor everyone is talking about
The royal wedding has come and gone, but that doesn’t mean any of the buzz has died down. Yes, Prince Harry is officially off the market — but his nuptials proved to be the best place to spot the next eligible bachelor, apparently.
News outlets and social media users alike can’t stop talking about Louis Spencer, who is Prince Harry and William’s 24-year-old cousin. He is the son of Charles Spencer, the late Princess Diana’s younger brother, and he also happens to be the heir to his dad’s title, Earl Spencer. This would make his future wife a countess … just sayin’.
Here’s more on Harry’s dashing cousin:
At Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s wedding, Spencer did have more than one beautiful woman on his arm. But not to worry — the ladies were his mother, Victoria Aitken, and sisters, Lady Kitty and Lady Eliza Spencer. But, as far as we know, Spencer is single (or at least unmarried).
The elusive bachelor doesn’t have much of a social media presence. The last time he was photographed publicly was at Prince William and Kate Middleton’s wedding in 2011. Niki Minaj shared a rare Instagram snap of Spencer back in 2015:

Given that this is the first time many people have seen this cool drink of water, it’s no surprise that women have taken to social media to essentially call dibs:

Others are hoping to be set up on a blind date, just like Prince Harry and Markle were, so they can start their happily ever after already!
If any of my friends know Louis Spencer now would be a good time to set me up on a blind date.

Someone else had the brilliant suggestion of having Spencer appear on “The Bachelor.” Your move, ABC.
@KensingtonRoyal I would like to be setup on a blind date with Louis Spencer pls

Given Spencer’s lineage, there are definitely perks involved with dating him. According to Cosmopolitan, he will inherit his family’s estate, Althorp, which was built in 1508 and now is open to the public for tours during the summer. Located about 60 miles from London in Northamptonshire, the estate has a home with 90 rooms and 550 acres of property. Not too shabby!
Althorp estate has an official Twitter account, just in case you’d like to keep up to date with the goings-on at your potential future home:

Spencer’s older sister, Lady Kitty, has said that he will take great care of the property one day. So if “responsible” is one of your “must-haves” when assessing spouse material, go ahead and check that box.
She is also not bothered that this inheritance skips over her to the first male heir.
“In general, I’m totally pro gender equality. But I’m quite happy that that’s [going to be] my brother’s responsibility. I just think it’s the correct way,” Lady Kitty told Tatler magazine. “I like that the house stays within the same family with the same surname. I wouldn’t want it any other way for the Spencers. And I just know my brother is going to do an impeccable job.”
Ties To The Royals
According to the U.K.’s Daily Mail, Prince Harry remains close to his mother’s side of the family. This was made clear as he and Markle had Princess Diana’s sister speak at their wedding on behalf of his late mother.
So, maybe you and Spencer and the Duke and Duchess of Sussex could go on a double-date sometime? Hey, it’s OK to dream!
