If you’ve been a fan since it hit theaters in 2003, it may be hard to believe, but the film “Elf” turns 20 years old this year.

Candy company Brach’s is celebrating the holiday classic starring Will Ferrell as Buddy the Elf with three brand-new candies inspired by the main elf food groups: candy, candy canes, candy corn and maple syrup. The new limited-time-only lineup includes candy canes in three flavors, Swirly Twirly Gum Drops and Candy Cane Forest Mellowcreme Candy.

Unlike traditional peppermint candy canes, the “Elf” candy canes come in flavors including Buddy the Elf Maple Syrup, World’s Best Cup of Peppermint Hot Cocoa and Cotton Candy Headed Ninny Muggins. The Swirly Twirly Gum Drops include flavors like Icy Blue Raspberry, Merry Cherry and Sweet Sugarplum and are made for eating straight from the package or decorating baked goods.

If you’re a fan of softer candies, the Candy Cane Forest Mellowcreme candies come shaped like Mr. Narwhal, Leon the Snowman, an elf cap and candy canes. Flavors include frosted sugar cookie, toasted marshmallow, maple syrup and peppermint.

You’ll find all three candies in stores nationwide throughout this holiday season.

The new candy is just one of a few “Elf”-inspired treats you’ll find on shelves this season to celebrate the anniversary of the film.

For breakfast, you can indulge in “Elf”-themed pancake mix and syrup from Mrs. Butterworth’s. While the syrup tastes the same as Mrs. Butterworth’s original flavor, the pancake kit includes pancake mix, frosting and red and green sprinkles.

For snack time or to make watching the film even more festive, you can also get Goldfish Elf Maple Syrup Flavored Grahams.

The grahams replace the normal Goldfish cheddar flavor with sweet brown sugar and butter, plus caramel and vanilla. While there are still some fish shapes in the mix, you’ll also find fun shapes like Buddy’s hat and a bottle of maple syrup.
