‘Love With Food’ Launches Gluten-Free Snack Box For Celiac Awareness Month

Love With Food

May is “Celiac Awareness Month,” and in recognition of it, Love With Food just launched the first-ever gluten-free snack box, and Enjoy Life Foods has taken it over.

The box contains both savory and sweet treats from Enjoy Life, everything from Sea Salt Plentils (lentil chips) and Beach Bash Seed & Fruit Mix to Muffin Mix and Chocolate Chip Crunchy Cookies. Mmm. Hungry yet?

Enjoy Life Foods is the first brand to be certified as gluten-free, and it’s also a leader in the “free-from” food category, like foods that are free from wheat, dairy, peanuts, tree nuts, egg, soy, fish, and shellfish.

And, all-natural ingredients, no artificial anything, and no GMOs. What more could you ask for?

The goal? To raise awareness about the sensitivity to gluten, all in one place, er, box. “We already understand the struggle of people with food allergies, and we admire Enjoy Life Foods’ mission to provide delicious and allergen-friendly snacks that everyone can enjoy,” Aihui Ong, Founder & CEO of Love With Food, tells us.

“We’re very excited to partner with such a trusted and allergen friendly brand like Enjoy Life and hope everyone loves the box!”

And, there’s no better a time for this box to premiere than during “Celiac Awareness Month.” In case you’re not aware, Celiac Disease is a genetic autoimmune disease affecting the small intestine, which is key in digestion.

If the small intestine is damaged, its ability to absorb nutrients is lowered. You probably know people with Celiac Disease—they’re likely the ones looking for gluten-free menu items. Yep, gluten affects them in a not-so-great way and is found in a lot of our favorite grains, like wheat, rye, and barley.

The best news? You don’t have to follow a gluten-free diet to like the gluten-free snack box. You could simply be craving good-for-you snacks. The monthly snack delivery service has food boxes with gluten, too. Overall, they focus on providing people with organic, all-natural snacks.

Love With Food’s motto is, “Snack Smart. Do Good.” They’re right, since the snacks are healthy, organic, and, in this case, gluten-free.

Plus, delicious (which, sadly, isn’t always the case with gluten-free foods). If Love With Food (boxes) couldn’t get sweeter, the company donates two meals to feed hungry children in the U.S. for each gluten-free snack box you purchase (and one for the with-gluten ones).

So it’s a win-win—you’ll feel good, and so will others. Last month, Love With Food even hit a milestone of over 1 million meals donated to places like Feeding America and Share Our Strength.

Ong started Love With Food after traveling and seeing how many people lived in poverty with no clean water or food—so she’s determined to end child hunger one meal at a time, she said.

Boxes start at just $7.99 a month if you become a Love With Food member, cost various prices per box for non-members, and only $29 for the gluten-free one (and if you’re someone who can’t have gluten, it’ll be worth every penny, trust us).
