Lowe’s Is Giving Away More Than $4 Million In Gift Cards On Black Friday—Here’s How To Get One
Here's how to get one!
If your plans for Black Friday include sleeping in, you might want to rethink them. Instead, head to your local Lowe’s store at some point between 6 a.m. and 8 a.m. in your time zone on Nov. 23, as you’ll have a pretty good chance of winning a gift card worth anywhere from $5 to $500.
For your chance to win, all you have to do is visit your local Lowe’s store and look for a sign that has a keyword for your specific time zone. Then, text the keyword between 6 a.m. and 8 a.m. to 78133.
Follow the prompts to enter your email address and agree to the rules, then go to the Lowe’s website to see if you’ve won. You’ll also notice a toll-free number on the in-store sign and can call that instead of sending a text.
Either way, you will need to visit a Lowe’s store to find the keyword. They are not open on Thanksgiving, but doors open at 6 a.m. on Black Friday, so make sure you’re ready to hunt for the sign if you want a chance at winning.
The gift cards are available while supplies last, but there are thousands of cards to give away, so you definitely have a chance of getting one. While nine in 10 cards will only be worth $5, odds are one in 400 that you’ll score a gift card worth $500. If your time zone is Eastern Standard Time, your chance of getting any type of gift card is higher, as the number of cards decreases as the day goes on.
You do not have to stay in the store to send the text, so feel free to find your keyword, then head home to get back in bed and enter the contest. Either way, you will have to get up a bit early, but you won’t have to wait in a checkout line.
Will you be heading to Lowe’s on Black Friday for your chance to win a gift card?
