You Could Win A $5,000 Macy’s Wedding Registry

What dream item would you add to your registry with that kind of cash?

Planning a wedding might be one of the best times of your life — but it’s also one the most stressful. All the details, working with vendors and trying to make everyone else happy is enough, but the biggest stressor? Paying for the festivities.

Although it may seem like you need the best of everything, those costs can certainly add up and cause unneeded worry when you’re beginning your life with your spouse! And in the end, a recent survey actually found that 28 percent of newly married couples regret spending so much money on their wedding.

One thing, however, that isn’t up to the bride and groom (hallelujah!) is purchasing the gifts on the wedding registry. Of course, there is stress in that, though, as you may be worried about putting too many things on there, or stuff that is too expensive. And, while you obviously want everything on your list, odds are, you won’t get it all.

That is, unless you’re one of five lucky couples this summer who will win Macy’s “Win Your Dream Registry” contest. The prize? $5,000 of items from your registry!

To enter, all you have to do is create your registry on Macy’s.com before June 30, then enter it in the contest. It’s that simple!

To qualify, you have to have at least $500 worth of items on the registry, but can have up to $5,000. So, no, you do not need to decide between the new sheet set and that must-have salad spinner — you can have both! Heck, throw a couch on there too!

You must be at least 18 years old to enter and your registry must be set to public. Five winners will be selected on or about July 20, so if your wedding is after that date, your guests might not have to bring presents!

Of course, other rules apply, so just visit Macys.com if you want to read more.

If you could win your dream wedding registry, what would you add to the list?
