‘Making A Murderer’ Is Coming Back With More Episodes

The first season of “Making a Murderer” was such a huge hit (6 Emmy nominations and 19.3 million viewers within the first 35 days of release to be exact), that producers of of the show have decided to create more episodes.

The second season, released by Netflix, will dig into the post-conviction process and get insight from Avery’s new lawyer, Kathleen Zellner, and Dassey’s legal team. Viewers will also be exposed to the emotional toll of the trial on Avery, family members and some of the other parties involved.

“We are extremely grateful for the tremendous response to, and support of, the series. The viewers’ interest and attention has ensured that the story is not over, and we are fully committed to continuing to document events as they unfold,” producers Laura Ricciardi and Moira Demos said in a press announcement via Netflix.

So will the new episodes shed some additional light on the case? Will Brandon Dassey get a new trial? I have so may questions!

A release date has not yet been shared, so we’ll just have to wait and see. Until then, my doors are locked and my popcorn is ready.
