This man and his two cats recreate iconic movie scenes
Everything is better with pets. That includes movies. But while Hollywood has embraced dogs (Toto, Lassie, Marley, BAXTER!!), cats have not had many starring turns in movies.
Thankfully, one British couple and their cats are doing what they can to remedy that. Meet David and Sarah and their two cats, Tara and Willow, the stars behind the Instagram account @moviecats. It’s exactly what it sounds like: David and Sarah recreating iconic movies scenes, but with cats. It’s everything you could possibly want it to be.

“We have two cats (who are almost identical) named Willow and Tara, though Tara is featured in most of our movie cat pics,” the couple told The Dodo. “We started doing it as a picture question in our pub quiz’s film/TV round, and it went down really well so we made it a regular thing.”
So far, the four have taken on 13 movies, including the rose pose from “American Beauty,” the kiss in the rain from “The Notebook” and the, ahem, pottery scene from “Ghost.”
As with any good movie production, the cats also have a behind-the-scenes Instagram account (@casualmoviecats) that documents the struggle that goes into getting cats to act. And you thought A-list movie stars were a pain to direct.

“It can be a challenge to get them to cooperate, but they get lots of treats so that tends to win them over to our nonsense,” David and Sarah told the Dodo. “We’re going to keep making them. It’s a hilarious way to spend a Sunday!”

What other movies do you think the account should tackle?
And hey, speaking of posing cats in movies for an Instagram account, here are six signs you may love your cat a little too much.
