Marshmallow Fluff comes in a strawberry flavor and you can buy it on Amazon
If you were a lucky grade-schooler, Fluffernutters were as standard in your lunchbox as PB&Js. Even if you did not regularly enjoy the rich, sweet, creaminess that is a Fluffernutter sandwich as a kid, perhaps you learned about them as an adult or at least got to munch on Fluffernutter cookies.
The beloved lunchtime treat is created by spreading peanut butter on one slice of bread and Marshmallow Fluff on another slice, and combining the two to produce a sweet-and-salty sandwich.
Whether you are a longstanding enthusiast of the sticky marshmallow spread or a relatively new fan, hold on to your peanut butter because there’s a new Fluff in town: Strawberry Marshmallow Fluff.
Imagine the perfect hybrid of peanut butter and jelly and Fluffernutter. Or strawberry-flavored crispy treats with rice cereal. You could top sundaes or milkshakes with a dollop.
Or, heck, eat it by the spoonful out of the jar, we won’t judge.
Strawberry Marshmallow Fluff is fat-free, gluten-free and cholesterol-free, but full of gooey, strawberry-marshmallowy flavor. And if your local grocery store doesn’t carry it, never fear — Amazon has got you covered.
The product has received good reviews so far, with more than 200 ratings and 4.4 stars.
A reviewer called “Gramma” said that buying it was a mistake (with tongue firmly inserted in cheek). “Took a bite … jar was gone by the next day,” she wrote. “Ooops!!!”
Next time, she should order the two-pack on Amazon ($11.99 for the pair) that comes with one jar of classic Fluff and one jar of the strawberry stuff, so there’s a backup Fluff on hand for moments of overindulgence.
Reviewer Karen Fanning said that Fluff is the stuff. Her description of eating the Strawberry Fluff makes it sound like a downright transcendent experience.
“So, we opened the fluff yesterday, my daughter and I,” Fanning wrote. “Each with a spoon at the ready, we opened the lid and ogled the mass of pink shiny goo in the jar, mesmerized. We dug in, moving slowly, lest we create a huge sticky mess from which there would be no return.”
If your mouth is watering, you might want to get your own Strawberry Marshmallow Fluff while you can, because it might not be around forever (Raspberry Fluff was discontinued in 2013.) A 7.5-ounce jar is around $6 on Amazon.
