It’s time to check your freezer because 15 varieties of frozen bagged biscuits have been recalled over listeria concerns.

The affected biscuits are Mary B’s brand, which are made by Hom/Ade Foods Inc. and are sold across 22 states. The recall was issued on Jan. 11, according to the U.S. Food and Drug Administration. The warning affects all Mary B’s frozen biscuits that have a “Best If Used By” date of before Sept. 23, 2018 and have a letter “M” printed immediately after the date on the bag.

Hom/Ade Foods announced the recall after an outside manufacturer found a potential listeria contamination. The company said no customer illnesses have yet been reported as a result of the possible contamination and this is a voluntary recall.

Listeria has been the cause of dozens of recalls in recent years, including ones involving cheese, ice cream and hummus in just the past few months. According to FoodSafety.gov, the bacteria is carried by animals and found in soil and water. It’s particularly dangerous because it can grow and spread even in the cold temperatures inside a refrigerator. Listeria causes fever and gastrointestinal problems and is especially dangerous to senior citizens, pregnant women, and people with compromised immune systems.

Mary B’s frozen biscuits are sold in stores across Alabama, Arkansas, California, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maryland, Missouri, Mississippi, North Carolina, Oklahoma, Oregon, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia, Wisconsin and West Virginia, according to the FDA.
