McDonald’s Debuts New Chocolate Shamrock Shake Flavors

Did someone say chocolate?

We’ve all heard of the “secret menus” that places such as Starbucks and McDonald’s have, but who has time to do in-depth investigating before placing an order? Certainly not me.

So, the fact that McDonald’s has put some previously “unofficial” items on the actual menu means I can finally enjoy them. According to Brand Eating, the chain is rolling out four brand new drinks when their limited edition Shamrock Shake is back.

Along with the Shamrock Shake, you’ll now be able to order a Chocolate Shamrock Shake, a Shamrock Chocolate Chip Frappe, a Shamrock Hot Chocolate and a Shamrock Mocha, according to the publication.

In case for some reason you’re not familiar with McDonald’s limited edition Shamrock Shake, let me explain what this festive drink entails.

The McDonald’s website states this drink is made using vanilla ice cream, a special mint syrup, whipped cream, a maraschino cherry and (new this year) green sugar crystals. So, whether you’re celebrating St. Patty’s Day or just love any excuse to drink a green drink, you’re going to want to pick up this seasonal item while it’s available.

Plus, now that you can mix it with chocolate flavor, you really can’t deny yourself a trip to this fast food chain. Whether you take it hot or cold, there’s no wrong way to enjoy this cocoa-mint combo!
