Meet The Wine Ice Cream Float—The Dessert Of Our Dreams

Club W

When it comes to sweet treats, ice cream sundaes and root beer floats are delicious, but you know what would make them even more amazing? Adding some booze. Luckily, such a magical dessert does exist, and it’s better than we could have ever imagined.

Enter the wine ice cream floats: they’re made with vanilla ice cream, a bottle of fruity red wine, sparkling water, and maraschino cherries, and they’re everything you could ever want on a hot summer’s day.

Sounds like a dream, doesn’t it? Here’s how you can make it yourself using a recipe from Club W:

1. Begin by popping a tall glass into the freezer to keep the ice cream cool once it’s inside.

2. Fill the glass up 2/3 of the way with vanilla ice cream.

3. Pour over equal parts wine to equal parts sparkling water.

4. Top with a couple maraschino cherries.

Ice cream floats will never be the same!
