Meghan Markle Looks Stunning At Grand Military Service With Kate, Harry And Will
It’s been a busy 48 hours for the royals. There was a christening service for Prince Louis on July 9, and July 10 marks the celebration for the 100th year of the Royal Air Force. Meghan Markle, along with her husband and Prince William and Kate Middleton, attended an event to celebrate the grand occasion. And of course, Markle looked as beautiful as ever.
She’s becoming quite the royal statement-maker in terms of her style. While attending Prince Louis’s christening, she sported a bateau neckline, similar to that of her royal wedding dress:
And not that you needed a reminder (because who could forget this dress?), but here’s another look at her wedding gown:
Apparently her motto when it comes to fashion is, if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it. And who could blame her? She wore the exact same neckline to the 100th anniversary Royal Air Force celebration, too, and the timeless pieces work so well for her:
This time, however, her dress was black and very Audrey Hepburn-inspired.
She completed the look with nude shoes, a black fascinator and a black belt around her waist. A belted waist has become part of her look, as she’s sported this type of accessory on several occasions.
She paired a white dress with a black belt while attending the Royal Ascot horse races:
And she also sported a belt when she stepped out for her first solo outing with the Queen:
While attending the Royal Air Force celebration, Kate Middleton opted for a pale blue look, designed by Alexander McQueen, who also designed her wedding dress:
Clearly, once you find your royal style, you stick with it in one way or another. Middleton’s classic, elegant lace ball gown set the tone for her royal fashions:
Prince William and Prince Harry both appeared in uniform. Prince William served in the Royal Air Force, and while Prince Harry served in the British Army, he was an Honorary Air Commandant, according to The Sun:
The grand finale of the celebration involved a flypast involving 100 military planes. The royal family, including the Queen, watched from the balcony.
This was Markle’s second appearance on the balcony, but she looked just as comfortable as ever:
She made her first appearance on the balcony for the Queen’s birthday celebration, Trooping the Colour.
Markle seems to be fitting in to the royal family just fine, carrying her graceful fashion choices right along with her. We can’t wait to see what she’ll wear next!
