Meghan Markle’s ‘Suits’ co-stars wished her congratulations on the royal wedding

All eyes were on Meghan Markle and Prince Harry this past weekend for their highly-anticipated wedding. The star-studded event was attended by a number of American celebrities, including Oprah, Elton John and Serena Williams.

Also present were many of Markle’s co-stars from “Suits,” the USA network series on which Markle played paralegal Rachel Zane for seven seasons. Her former coworkers and friends took to social media to express their well-wishes for the happy couple. Check out some of their sweet posts below.

Sarah Rafferty, who plays Donna Paulsen on the legal drama, shared a snap of herself checking out her fascinator in the mirror alongside a caption saying she and her husband, Santtu Seppala, were “honored to witness such a sublime and emotional event.” She added, “We wish the happy couple every blessing with all our hearts.”

Gabriel Macht, who plays Harvey Specter, also posted a selfie from the event and wished the newlyweds a future together “full of love and children.”

Rick Hoffman, who plays Louis Litt, and Patrick Adams, who played Mike Ross and departed from “Suits” after the last season, were also in attendance. Hoffman shared this snap of the two and called the wedding weekend an “other worldly” experience:

The day before the wedding, Rafferty, Hoffman and fellow co-star Gina Torres appeared on “Today” to talk about what it was like to find out that Markle was about to become a royal. Check out the fun clip below:

Hoffman revealed that five years ago, when he found himself without a date for a wedding in Paris, Markle offered to attend the wedding with him and noted that they had a great time together. What a good friend!

Per British royal tradition, Markle’s wedding attendants were children close to the family, including Princess Charlotte as well as Zalie Warren and Florence van Custem, Prince Harry’s goddaughters. However, Markle was able to honor her friends as well, as Ivy Mulroney, the four-year-old daughter of her good friend Jessica Mulroney, and Remi and Rylan Litt, daughters of Markle’s friend Benita Litt, also served as bridesmaids.
