Actors Michael Fassbender and Alicia Vikander are now officially married. The couple reportedly tied the knot in a super-secret, exclusive ceremony at the La Granja farmstead resort in Ibiza on Oct. 14. You might know Fassbender from his roles in films such as “Inglourious Basterds,” “Prometheus,” “X-Men: First Class” and “X-Men: Days of Future Past.” Vikander is a Swedish actor, dancer and producer. She has appeared in films such as “Ex Machina” and “The Danish Girl.”
On Oct. 15, the newlyweds were spotted showing off their new wedding rings. The couple appeared to be celebrating with friends and family during a post-wedding brunch.

The two met in 2014 on the set of “The Light Between Oceans,” in which Vikander played Fassbender’s wife. Although rumors of their emerging romance swirled at the time, the couple decided to keep their relationship private.
In a 2016 interview with Entertainment Weekly, Fassbender explained that it’s a strong priority of his to keep his private life private, despite what others in Hollywood may be doing: “But that’s other people. Each to their own. I’m not going to talk about my private life with a total stranger, unless I feel like I need to. Why would I? I don’t.”
In the same interview, Vikander echoed her partner’s sentiments: “I think we’ve made a clear statement that we keep certain things just between us. It was very easy to unite, but that’s quite personal.”
In 2016, they made their union public and attended the Golden Globes together. The couple sat together and were seen showing support for each other as they were both nominated for awards.
Just last month, news of the tight-lipped couple’s engagement broke.
A source reportedly close to Fassbender told The Sun, “Guests have been told to arrive in Ibiza on a certain date and they will then be collected and taken to the hotel. He’s splashing out big time and it’s going to be the party of the year.”
