Michelob Ultra Releases New Beer Infused With Fruit
Spring is here and that means it’s officially time for a cold, refreshing adult beverage. If fruit-infused beers are always a go-to order for you once the temperature rises, you’re in for a new treat.
Anheuser-Busch is releasing a new line of drinks, called Michelob Ultra Infusions, which take the standard Michelob beer up a notch by infusing it with real, exotic fruits. The first flavor from the new Infusions line is Lime & Prickly Pear Cactus, which sounds pretty refreshing to sip on a Friday night out on the patio.
The naturally flavored beer packs just 95 calories per bottle, has 4-percent alcohol by volume and Michelob Ultra says it is “light and refreshing” to drink. You can find it on store shelves nationwide.
If you love lime-flavored beer, Corona also has a new line of fruity spiked malt drinks that take lime flavor and mix it up a bit. The beer maker’s new Corona Refresca drinks come in three flavors: passionfruit lime, guava lime and coconut lime. Modelo also has a new drink for the summer, Modelo Chelada Limón y Sal, which is made with lime and salt.
If you want a different flavor in your beer, Natural Light has released a strawberry lemonade-flavored brew, and it sounds seriously perfect for warm, summer nights. At 4.2-percent alcohol by volume, they seem like they’ll go down pretty easy. Of course, you’ll still need to drink responsibly because even if it doesn’t taste like it, it is, indeed, still a beer.
While we don’t know all the flavors we can expect from Michelob Ultra’s new Infusion line, it looks like Pomegranate & Agave will also be hitting shelves eventually. Will you be trying the new fruit-infused beers or any of the other new fruity drinks this summer? What other flavors would you like to see?
