Mickey-Shaped Beignets Now Available at Disney World
Disney World is arguably all about the entertaining experiences — whether that means going on rides, meeting characters or seeing a show. But another key part of visiting Disney World is getting to taste all the delectable food and drink available there.
As someone who just returned from a Disney World vacation, I can attest to the fact that your pants will likely fit a bit more snugly upon your return. One of Disney’s specialties is offering food items in the shape of Mickey Mouse ears, whether it’s waffles, cookies, Rice Krispie treats or now, beignets.

You can now get your hands on a Mickey Mouse-shaped version of the French specialty at Sassagoula Floatworks and Food Factory, a dining location within the French Quarter area of the Port Orleans Resort, which is a part of the larger Disney Springs Resort Area.
Beignets are a staple of cuisine in New Orleans, home to the world-famous French Quarter district, which this area of Disney World evokes. If you’re unfamiliar with beignets, they are a French pastry typically made with deep-fried choux dough and dusted with powdered sugar.
You can get an order of three Mickey Mouse-shaped beignets for $4.49 or six for $6.99, along with dipping sauces in caramel, strawberry or chicory coffee ganache flavor for $1.99 each.
If you really want to indulge in this Disney decadence, at lunchtime you can also get a sundae with three beignets topped with your choice of ice cream, sauce and whipped cream for $6.49.
This treat sounds amazingly delicious and totally Instagram-worthy!
Previously, Mickey Mouse beignets were only available in Disneyland in California, so this is exciting news for travelers to Florida’s Disney World who want their French pastries with a side of Disney magic. Yum!
