Miley Cyrus’ new Tennessee home is so country chic
When she’s not visiting children in hospitals or singing her heart out on “Carpool Karaoke,” you just might find Miley Cyrus relaxing in Franklin, Tennessee. The actress and pop star just purchased a home there for a cool $5.8 million.
This is the first home Cyrus has purchased in Tennessee, where she was born. She also owns a horse ranch in Hidden Hills, California, and bought a Malibu bungalow in 2016.
The latest addition to her collection of homes boasts five bedrooms and six baths on over 33 acres of land.
Just as you would expect to find in Tennessee, the home features classic Southern design elements, like a wraparound porch and screened-in sun room. It even has an indoor porch swing!
A pool and mini-golf course complete the fenced-in backyard. And check out that second-story deck! What a fabulous outdoor space for entertaining guests.
Inside the 6,869-square-foot home are hardwood floors, a stone fireplace, red brick accents and exposed beams that contribute to the rustic vibe.
It would be pretty hard not to be relaxed sitting in these cozy-looking chairs in front of a fire when the weather gets chilly.
And check out the kitchen! With all that cupboard space and separate island, it’s simply gorgeous.
Not to be outdone, however, is one of the six bathrooms. So simple, yet stunning. Can’t you just imagine a nice long soak in that tub, gazing at the view of the woods? How peaceful.
This is just one of the five bedrooms, but we can’t help but picture Miley lounging around in here, writing more songs. It looks like a songwriter’s paradise!
Speaking of, this new purchase comes right as Cyrus announced that her new album will be released on Sept. 29. While she didn’t give any details just yet, she told Billboard earlier this year that she left behind past collaborators and wrote more of this album herself. Her father, Billy Ray Cyrus, also said she has moved on to embracing aspects of her country past on the new record.
Sounds like it was the perfect time to settle down in Tennessee. We can’t wait for the new album!
