Watch This Little Girl Sing ‘Rainbow Connection’ For Miley Cyrus And Liam Hemsworth
Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom may have just started a very worthwhile trend. Shortly after they visited a children’s hospital to spread some Christmas cheer in L.A., Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth followed suit with a visit to the Rady Children’s Hospital in San Diego, according to Refinery29.
The publication reports that the two were visiting on behalf of Cyrus’ Happy Hippie organization. The foundation was created by her to help aid education, homeless youth, women’s rights and more.
There’s evidence of the two going from door to door of the hospital, posing for selfies with patients and more via Cyrus’ Instagram, but one very special moment was caught on camera by a parent.
Cyrus was particularly touch by one little girl. The way to the pop singer’s heart? Through song, of course.
Little Julia Davidson is suffering from neuroblastoma, “a cancer that develops from immature nerve cells found in several areas of the body,” according to Mayo Clinic. The little girl brought “The Voice” judge to tears when she serenaded both Cyrus and Hemsworth with her own rendition of “Rainbow Connection.”

Julia is barely able to get started before Cyrus interrupts and says, “This is my favorite song.” What an incredible moment these three (and everyone else in the hospital room) shared! We have Davidson’s dad to thank for capturing this moment on video, according to Refinery29.

Cyrus posted about the heartwarming encounter on her Instagram account and declared it her “official best moment of 2016.” She wrote:
Wow ….. such a beautiful girl singing such a beautiful song! Her voice is so incredibly moving! I told you J, I hope one day I have the chance to turn my red chair for you 🙂 I just hope you pick me as your coach.
Getting Cyrus to turn around for you in a “Voice” audition would be no small feat, so brava, Julia, brava!
