M&M’s is launching a new fudge brownie flavor—here’s what we know so far

Mars, Incorporated

While I’m not sure anything beats a traditional, chocolatey, candy-coated M&M, the creators of the beloved candy are certainly trying to outdo themselves.

Not even a week ago, they announced that they’ll be offering a brand-new flavor this fall called Creepy Cocoa Crisp, which not only has a perfect name for Halloween, but also sports autumn colors like dark red, orange and brown. Each Creepy Cocoa Crisp candy has a cocoa crisp center, like Rice Krispies cereal, which is then covered in a layer of dark chocolate and, finally, the candy shell.

Food blogger @munchiebunchie from Los Angeles found them on shelves in mid-July and shared this image:

Then, they announced the winner of the 2019 Flavor Vote campaign — English Toffee Peanut. According to a press release, the English Toffee Peanut M&M tastes “as elegant as a trip to Great Britain itself” and features milk chocolate and toffee peanut pieces wrapped in the brand’s signature colorful crispy shell. You can find these M&M’s on store shelves now for about 18 months.

And now? M&M’s is currently working on another new flavor — Fudge Brownie! Unfortunately, Mars, Inc. is being pretty quiet about the new flavor. The fact that it will eventually be here is basically all we know at this point. What we can tell you is that it looks like they’ll be the same color as original M&M’s. The package also shows Ms. Brown M&M holding a pan of brownies and a cartoon M&M that looks like it might be fudge-like on the inside.

We do not know when you can expect them on store shelves but we can confirm they will be there eventually thanks to a tweet on M&M’s Twitter account that simply says they’re worth the wait:

While I personally hope they show up soon, they also seem perfect for the holidays. Either way, I can’t wait! Will you be trying the new Fudge Brownie M&M’s or any of their other new flavors?
