St. Patrick’s Day is right around the corner, and you know what that means — celebrating with green-colored food and drinks. Whether you’re all about themed cocktails or prefer shamrock-shaped goodies, there is a treat for everyone, and every year, new ones hit store shelves.
M&M’s has a new green dessert that’s out just in time to celebrate the day. The new M&M’s Mint Ice Cream Cookie Sandwiches feature mint-flavored ice cream between two chocolate cookies dotted with milk chocolate M&M’s minis. The minty ice cream sandwiches will be available nationwide in packs of four beginning this month.
If you can’t find the M&Ms sandwiches near you yet, you can seek out a similar treat: the brand Turkey Hill has a Choco Mint Chip ice cream cookie sandwich that features mint chocolate chip ice cream sandwiched between two double chocolate chip cookies.
Of course, these also aren’t the only St. Patrick’s Day goodies you can get your hands on this year. As always, McDonald’s Shamrock Shake has returned and this year, and they’re also making an Oreo Shamrock McFlurry. If you want even more ice cream, Dairy Queen has also brought their Mint Oreo Blizzard back and added a new Mint Chip Shake to the menu.
While already a good treat for St. Patrick’s Day, Lucky Charms has a new cereal with magic clovers that turn your milk green. You can also get Lucky Charms ice cream and a Lucky Charms shake at Cold Stone Creamery. Both have Lucky Charms-flavored ice cream, marshmallows, whipped topping and gold dust!
If it wasn’t the mint or St. Patrick’s Day theme that intrigued you about the M&Ms cookie sandwich, however, you’ll be pleased to know the sandwich comes in other flavors as well, including vanilla and chocolate.
