M&M’s Valentine’s Day Flavor Is Back—And It Sounds Amazing

Do you love M&M’s? Do you love cheesecake? If so, you are in for a treat!
One of M&M’s newest flavors to hit the shelves is White Cheesecake, and they’re back again this year for Valentine’s Day.
Yes, really.
The candies are coated pink, white and cream and they are filled with cheesecake instead of chocolate.
You can find this flavor exclusively at Walmart — and for a limited time only.
That being said, I am going to be real with you. Not everyone is in love with the new flavor. Over at Junk Banter, the White Cheesecake M&M’s received a harsh review, while others have complained that the candies don’t taste much like cheesecake, and instead they are too much like white chocolate.
Sometimes Foodie complains that the cheesecake flavor makes the candies taste very artificial and compares it to the taste of coffee creamer.
And yet, still other M&Ms lovers said they were delicious, with one reviewer writing that they were “M&Ms best creation yet” and another writing that they were “very addicting.” So you’ll have to grab and bag and decide for yourself!
This isn’t the first time that M&M’s has launched a specialty flavor, and they definitely tend to be a “love ’em or hate ’em” taste-bud experiment. As Forrest Gump’s mama would say, you never know what you’re gonna get!
For example, the completely bizarre-sounding White Chocolate Carrot Cake M&M’s were actually beloved by many, while deliciously promising Pumpkin Spice Latte M&M’s kind of ended up being a bust. (Candy-lovers complained that they hardly tasted like pumpkin, but rather kind of cinnamon-y and artificial.)
Personally, I am shocked to discover that I have missed out on so many of these limited editions M&M’s! Cherry Cordial M&M’s, Smores M&M’s and even Strawberried Peanut Butter M&M’s — where the heck was I?
Well, one thing is for sure: I won’t be missing out on the White Cheesecake flavor!
