The ‘Modern Family’ kids: Then and now
The first season of “Modern Family” aired back in 2009, and boy, how the time has flown by! The cast hit the red carpet at the Emmys, and it’s very apparent that eight years has passed—because the kids from the show are practically all grown up now!
Sarah Hyland, who plays Haley, the eldest of the Dunphy children, was 19 when the first season came to television screens. Soon, she’ll be turning 27. Can you believe it? Meanwhile, Jeremy Maguire, who was cast on the show in 2015 to play little Joe Pritchett, is now 6 years old.
With eight seasons under their belts and having been approved for seasons nine and 10, the “Modern Family” cast isn’t going anywhere. People have loved watching them on screen for years, as evidenced by the fact that they were up for Outstanding Comedy Series at the 2017 Emmy Awards.
You’ll see plenty more of these (all grown-up) kids on your TVs in the future, but for now—let’s take a look at how much they’ve grown.
