Nestle’s new chocolate curls will help you decorate a cake like a pro

NESTLÉ

Did you ever wish you had the cake decorating skills of a professional pastry chef? Now, thanks to new Nestle Toll House Chocolate Curls, you can add bakery-worthy flair to all your baked goods, even if your skills in the kitchen are a bit lacking.

The chocolate curls come in three varieties: classic chocolate, white chocolate and red and white. The first two varieties are already available at stores nationwide, including Giant Eagle, Hy-Vee, Meijer, Publix and Schnucks Markets. The red and white variety, which is perfect for the holidays, is not yet widely available, but look out for it soon! A 3.8-ounce container is priced at about $3.99.

All you need to do is sprinkle these atop your cupcakes, cookies, sundaes or any other dessert to add an instant look of sophistication. No special tools or finesse required! Once you have these at your disposal, your baked goods will be on par with any of the winning creations from “The Great British Bake Off.”

They’re made with real chocolate and real vanilla, so in addition to visual flair, expect an added flavor punch, too. They’re free of gluten and preservatives.

These tasty embellishments are sure to take your baked goods to the next level — from Halloween all the way through to Valentine’s Day and beyond. How cute would the red and white ones be atop some red velvet sugar cookies?

They’re not just for dessert either. Add them as a sweet touch to these nutritious and delicious banana, peanut butter and chocolate overnight oats. Use them in place of the chocolate morsels or double up on the chocolate for a little extra indulgence.

The curls would also be great atop drinks as well. Sprinkle them on top of your whipped cream on a hot chocolate or mocha for a drink your local barista would admire.

Once you start using these on your homemade desserts, you won’t be able to stop!
