New dating website MouseMingle.com just launched on December 1st, billing itself as “the place to connect people who love Disney and who want that same magic in their relationship.” Created by Dave Tavres from Culver City, CA, the site is designed to connect Disney aficionados who are looking for friendship, dating, marriage or “Park Pals”.
According to an interview with Tavres in Los Angeles Magazine:
“Niche dating sites are more common these days. There’s a dating site for pot lovers and JDate for Jewish people. The first time I saw Farmers Only I thought it was a Saturday Night Live sketch.”
There is a well-populated photos section, but I can’t really figure out the angle here other than a bunch of random shots of Disney parks mixed with some wannabe-daters.
The site is free to join, but if you want to actually contact another Disney-obsessed human, it’ll end up costing you $12.55 for a membership.
