You Can Now Buy Strawberry Guava and Blueberry Acai Diet Coke
If you love Coca-Cola, chances are you’ve noticed some changes over the years. The 1980s saw the invention of Diet Coke, Coke Zero first appeared in 2005, and now we have Coke Zero Sugar.
With those changes have also come fresh flavors, including two Diet Coke flavors new for 2019 that may just be a game-changer. Don’t worry if you’re a fan of classic Diet Coke — it’s not going away — but next to it at your local store, you can now also find strawberry guava and blueberry acai.
Coca-Cola calls the strawberry guava flavor “a vacation in a can,” so it seems perfect for summer — or if you need a little boost during cooler weather. They say the blueberry acai flavor is “super refreshing,” so combine the new flavor with the already refreshing flavor of Diet Coke and it sounds like you are in for a treat.
The two new flavors are in 12-ounce cans and can be purchased as on-the-go singles or in eight packs. You can find them in stores nationwide.
This is far from the first time Diet Coke introduced new flavors. Last January, they launched a zero-calorie drink in skinnier cans and in the flavors ginger lime, feisty cherry, zesty blood orange and twisted mango.
Aside from flavors, they’ve also changed up their recipes a few times, changing Coke Zero to Coke Zero Sugar in July 2017. While the ingredients stayed the same for the beverage, the company said the new formula was closer to replicating the taste of regular Coca-Cola, which has sugar in it.
Will you be trying the new Diet Coke in strawberry guava or blueberry acai flavors?
