New Oreo Chocolate Candy Bars Will Be Hitting The Shelves Soon

Welcome to your newest diet-ruiner.

Just when you think Oreos can’t get any better than they already are, the company decides to go and drench them in chocolate.

Nabisco’s been known for doing flavor mash-ups with Oreos. I mean, there are birthday cake Oreo cookies, Peppermint Oreo cookies and the like. But, you’ve never seen anything quite like this before. Because they’ve got a way of surprising us like that.

Oreo and Milka have teamed up to create a chocolate-y cream-filled dream. And it’s one that you can easily eat on-the-go, no crumbs at all.

Milka is a Swiss chocolate company that’s owned by the same parent company as Oreo, so this partnership may have been a long time coming. All I know is, I’m glad it’s finally here.

They’re creating not just one, but two different candy bars. The first, called “Oreo Chocolate Candy Bar” is exactly what it sounds like, basically an Oreo wedged between two pieces of milk chocolate. Yum!

And the other, “Oreo Big Crunch Bar” has a cookie in between layers of cream with a chocolate outside. Eater describes it as an inside out Oreo, and frankly, that sounds amazing to me. Supposedly, this bar is meant to be shared. But hey, sometimes you’re in the giving spirit and sometimes you’re not, you know?

Perhaps the best news of all is you won’t have to wait for long to get your hands on these! These diet-ruiners are already in select stores and will be accessible in grocery stores nationwide starting in January.

So, cruise around to all of your local pit stops to see if there’s an Oreo candy bar combo near you, and if there’s not — well, get ready to ring in the New Year in the most delicious way. Oh, and keep this creation in mind when you come up with your New Year’s resolutions. You wouldn’t want to swear off chocolate or anything crazy like that!
