New York Cheesecake Kit Kat Chunky bars are here

OK, junk food fans: Nestlé is rolling out their latest creation on Sept. 18, and people around the world are understandably excited. The new flavor? New York Cheesecake Kit Kat Chunky!

Yes. A Kit Kat Chunky bar that is made to taste like New York-style cheesecake. Let that delicious idea sink in for a minute.

“The combination of smooth milk chocolate and crispy wafer, with a thick layer of creamy vanilla cheesecake filling is proving very popular with consumers who’ve already managed to get their hands on a bar!” Kit Kat executive Ellie Worley said in a press release.

Those lucky ducks. The New York Cheesecake Kit Kat Chunky will have the delicious chocolate Kit Kat taste, as well as the hint of vanilla and a subtle tang that one finds in a traditional cheesecake. New York-style cheesecake is world-famous for its use of sour cream and its dense, creamy consistency, and these textures and flavors are brought to life in the new Kit Kat Chunky bar.

And, of course, people say it is freakin’ delicious.

But there is just one problem: This new flavor of Kit Kat Chunky is currently ONLY available in the U.K. Yep. We Yanks are out of luck. Unless … we order it online!

While the product is not yet up for grabs, rumor has it that we will be able to order the new candy bar online. Look to Tesco for online ordering options, but be aware you will have to pay for shipping from the U.K., so this sweet treat could cost you cash and calories (they clock in at 225 calories per candy bar).

Here’s the good news: You can get your hands on other Kit Kat Chunky flavors, like Kit Kat Chunky Cookie Dough and Kit Kat Chunky Peanut Butter, right here in the good ‘ol US of A.

While most of the Kit Kat Chunky flavors can only be found in the U.K. (or Japan, where wacky Kit Kat combos reign supreme), many of these awesome candy options can easily be purchased online.
