NYC’s Plaza Hotel is offering a ‘Home Alone 2’ package—so you can make your childhood dream come true

If you didn’t already have plans to visit New York City this holiday season, you might want to start packing your bags—because the Plaza Hotel is offering up a pretty incredible package. In honor of the 25th anniversary of “Home Alone 2: Lost in New York,” the hotel is giving you the chance to live like Kevin McCallister for a weekend.

In the beloved 1990s flick, McCallister, played by Macaulay Culkin, finds himself lost in New York, but thankfully, he has his dad’s credit card. So, he’s able to stay at the Plaza, and while there, he has all kinds of adventures. From incredible room service to unbelievable pranks—his stay was one to be remembered.

And if you book this cool hotel package, your trip to the Big Apple will be unforgettable, too! The Plaza’s offering a room, gifts and complimentary in-room ice cream sundaes (just like Kevin ordered!)—just to name a few amenities.

According to the hotel, this very special anniversary package also offers the chance to experience a photo tour that will have guests feeling like they’re in the movie. The website describes the tour like this:

“There will be plenty to see and do including a one-of-a-kind photo experience will allow fans to ‘be Kevin’ experiencing his journey throughout the movie. Guests will walk their way through the NYC skyline for photo opportunities with the Wet/Sticky Bandits, a Central Park scene and have the opportunity to choose a custom photo booth experience for photos to take home with them.”

And that’s not all! Guests will also have the chance to sample a nostalgic, ’90s-inspired menu from The Plaza’s Todd English Food Hall. Yum! And the hotel concierge can help guests arrange visits to iconic New York sights like the Empire State Building and the Wollman Rink.

The hotel’s anniversary package also offers a special paint can full of five “Home Alone” DVDs including a 25th Anniversary Edition of “Home Alone 2: Lost In New York” from Fox Home Entertainment.
