This No-Bake Strawberry Chocolate Tart Is Almost Too Pretty To Eat

Home Cooking Adventure

Sure, Valentine’s Day is a day dedicated to showing loved ones just how much you care, but it doesn’t have to be Feb. 14 for you to indulge in chocolate and to show some love — and this dessert is the ultimate act of love. Because not only is this strawberry chocolate tart going to taste decadent, it’s almost too pretty to eat … almost.

It’s made using rich chocolate and juicy strawberries, doesn’t require baking and can be thrown together in about 15 minutes. The only downside is that it has to be chilled for at least two hours before serving. So, that last part is just going to take a tiny bit of will power on your part, because you’re seriously going to want to take your fork and dive right in!

The recipe from Home Cooking Adventure will help you prepare a treat that’s perfect for a special occasion or just any old time you need a sweet pick-me-up! According to the recipe, you’ll use crushed Oreo cookies and butter to create the crust, which sounds like you could just stop there and eat it with a spoon. But, if you keep going you’ll add a layer of milk chocolate, bittersweet chocolate and heavy cream and then top it all with fresh strawberries and anything else you see fit: nuts, whipped topping, you name it!

This video from the Home Cooking Adventure YouTube channel will show you how easy it is to assemble this dessert:

Then, all you have to do is chill it and treat yourself to this deliciousness! Nothing says “self-care” quite like a chocolate and strawberry combo, after all.

And if you’d like a little more of the strawberry flavor, you can switch the layer of chocolate for a light and fluffy layer of strawberry filling, cream cheese, heavy cream and powdered sugar that’s been whipped to perfection with this recipe from The Recipe Critic:

If you prefer white chocolate to darker chocolate varieties, you can follow along with this recipe from Pretty Simple Sweet, which uses a graham cracker crust instead of Oreo cookies and combines strawberries and white chocolate for a center layer that’s packed with chocolate flavor but feels a little lighter. This version also includes a strawberry jam glaze. Yum!

Whether you’re making these strawberry masterpieces for a dinner party or for a party of one on your couch, have a glass of wine at the ready and be prepared to dig into these amazing desserts!
