Does ‘NSync’s JC Chasez look like Professor Snape? The internet says so

Fresh off ‘NSync receiving a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, one of the boy band’s members has people talking for another reason.

J.C. Chasez was regarded as a teen heartthrob during the group’s heyday in the late 1990s/early 2000s, but these days some people have a different opinion on his appearance … namely that he he kind of looks like Professor Severus Snape from the Harry Potter movies.

With his long, dark hair and black suit, I can definitely see why it’s an apt comparison. Check out the side-by-side from one Twitter user:

While being likened to the brooding Snape may not be the most flattering of comparisons, other people qualified that he looked like a more attractive version of the wizard, like MTV’s Terron Moore, who wrote that Chasez looked like a “hot” version of the character:

Another user even went so far as to say Chasez’s new look is a cross between Loki and his fellow “Avengers: Infinity War” character Dr. Strange:

Regardless of whom he looks like, Chasez’s long tresses are certainly a departure from the much shorter style he rocked as recently as 2016:
