The “Ocean’s 8” cast is made up of female stars Cate Blanchett, Sarah Paulson, Sandra Bullock, Rihanna, Anne Hathaway, Mindy Kaling, Awkwafina and Helena Bonham Carter. The story is about the plan these women make to steal a necklace during the Met Gala, and it sounds absolutely amazing. But the actresses are giving us even more reasons to go and see the film as they make their rounds talking to the press.

Now that the movie’s wrapped and set to hit theaters on June 8, the star-studded cast is in full-on promotion mode. This is usually the time where a few more details about the film and characters are revealed, but the actresses are doing an incredible job of making fans want to watch the movie while managing to keep the details under wraps. And let’s just say they’re also not letting their promotion tasks get boring. Far from it, in fact!

Blanchett and Paulson sat down with NBC’s “Today” anchor Hoda Kotb to promote the movie, but they didn’t wind up talking about the film much at all. Instead, they showed their silly side — and gave us all a good laugh in the process.

Kotb was laughing so hard her mascara was running, and when you see the six-minute clip, you’ll see why. Warning to all those not wearing waterproof mascara — you may want to have a box of tissues handy before pressing play:

The actresses joke with each other about everything from their outfits to how many Emmys and Academy Awards they’ve won, and it’s pretty hilarious. And while they didn’t fill listeners in on plot details, they definitely gave people a reason to go and see the film.

“I mean, obviously, [because] we’re both in it,” Paulson said.

These women weren’t the only cast members to give a non-traditional “promotional” interview, either. Bullock, who also sat down with Kotb, wound up talking about her kids and the adoption process in an emotional interview.

Considering Kotb has also adopted a child, these two had a lot to talk about besides “Ocean’s 8,” though the new film has been the perfect excuse to bring fans some incredible interviews with amazing actresses. And that’s reason enough to see it.

In case you’re interested in actually finding out more about the movie, here’s the official trailer:

If the movie is even half as entertaining and interesting as the interviews promoting it have been, you and all of your family and friends need to be in the audience when it comes out on June 8.
